The Danville Metropolitian Police Department Support Services Division provides a number of community related functions. These include background checks, vehicle releases, document requests, gun permit applications, alarm permits, religious support, and many other services.

OBTAINING A POLICE REPORT
Call the Hendricks County Communications Center 24 hours a day 7 days a week at 317-839-8700. If it is an emergency, dial 911. PLEASE do not call our administrative office to report a crime in progress.
 
GUN PERMIT APPLICATIONS
Citizens who reside in the corporate limits of the Town of Danville may make application for a firearm carry or hunting and targeting permit at the Danville Police Department.  However, on-line electronic application is required by the Indiana State Police and can be completed by clicking here.
 
ALARM PERMITS
For information on alarm permits for the Town of Danville, please contact our Administration Office Monday - Friday 8AM-4PM.
