The Danville Metropolitan Police Department is currently accepting applications for the position of full-time Police Officer.

The salary is $51,443 with the following benefits: PERF retirement, take home vehicle, uniform and equipment allowance, vacation, holidays, personal days, illness leave, insurance to include: health, dental, vision, life, and Health Savings Account.

Applicants must be a U.S. citizen and at least 21 years of age and under 36 years of age or a veteran who has at least 20 years of service in the Armed Forces and age not more than 40 years and 6 months.

The written exam and physical agility test will take place on March 10, 2018 @ 9:00 a.m. at the Danville Community High School (Door #14)

Parking Enforcement Officer (Part-time).

The hourly rate is $10.49 - $15.49. Applicants must be a U.S. citizen, at least 18 years of age and a high school graduate.
