Since its inception in 1996, The Winterland Light show has become a holiday tradition for many Hendricks County residents.  The Danville Chamber of Commerce and the Town of Danville Parks Department joined forces to create some holiday magic for the community.  The event has proven to be quite a success!   Thousands and thousands of cars, vans , trucks and buses have passed through the gates to see some amazing Christmas light displays.  Over a million twinkle lights illuminate the park each season.  The month long festival has plenty to do and see.  Mr. and Mrs. Claus are available on weekends for kids to share their gift list.  Pictures can be taken with Santa; even your pet can get in on that action!  One can rent a horse and carriage and travel through the park to enjoy the scenery. 

This festival could not happen without the help from the dozens and dozens of sponsors that donate each season.  Anyone can become a sponsor; whether it is an individual family, a small business or a large corporation, all donations are appreciated.  Sponsorships come in a variety of levels and each sponsors' name is proudly displayed in the park.  To become a sponsor, see the link entitled "Winterland" on our website. 

We invite everyone to drive through the park this season.  It always opens the day after Thanksgiving and it always ends on Christmas Eve.  Discount coupons are always available in the local newspapers and on our website.
