Memorial Tree Dedication "Plant a tree as a living memorial!"
In 1983, The Danville Park and Recreation Department established The Memorial Tree Program. A gift to the Memorial Tree Program is a beautiful way to honor a loved one who has passed. A tree is a recognized symbol of nature's strength, beauty and endurance. For years to come, a tree will enhance our parks and will provide loved ones with a way of remembering those we miss. To date, over two-hundred trees have been donated. To give, simply click on "trees" to obtain a registration form. To ensure the tree's survival, all plantings are done in either the spring or fall when growing conditions are favorable. Let our staff do all the work! See registration form for all of the details.
